They met on the set of an Eric Rohmer film: she was the sound recordist; he was there to make pictures. He was already a legend, having made iconic photos from trouble spots around the world, including his Pulitzer Prize-winning coverage of Chad. She became a key collaborator in his movies and photography. Together, Claude Nougaret and Raymond Depardon embark upon a travel journal, based on six years of photographs from their home country, offering a deep look at their lives together, of France and of the photographic arts.
