Ouray Sports Enter a New Era

As Ouray Schools officially become active members of the San Juan Basin League for sporting events for the upcoming school year, there will naturally be certain changes to anticipate. One example of such adjustments will be the absorption of Ouray’s Peak Performance pre-season basketball tournament during the first weekend of the season into a four-year shared rotation involving Norwood, Ouray, Nucla, and Ridgway.

Norwood will be the first to host the pre-season Mountain Shootout Tournament this December. Therefore, the Ouray athletic department and coaching staff would like to thank the numerous businesses and individuals that have contributed to the Peak Performance Tournament over the past six years. We look forward to renewing your similar levels of support and interest when it is Ouray’s turn to host for the 2009-2010 event.
