Editor:

Congratulations to all the sponsors/participants and judges who came together to make the Sixth Annual CoolSculpt event another success. With our wonderful Title Sponsor support from Telluride Mountain Village Owners Association, Presenting sponsors; Telluride Ski and Golf, Telluride Snowmobile Adventures, Wells Fargo Bank, LaPiazza/La Pizzeria, Contributing sponsors; S.U.N.R.I.S.E. Inc., Telluride- Rentals, AS Horner Construction and Mountain Video Productions LLC and Supporting sponsor Diggity Dog House we thank you.

The four sculpting teams really gave it their best shots at making some fantastic spectacles of huge 8-foot snowcubes. Castles, mice munching on a block of cheese, a bust of Colorado’s state animal and an old school video game basically describe the broad taste of sculptures you can still see up in the Mountain Village Plazas. As one visiting family said to me, “I had no idea this was possible” best describes the wonderment we hope you feel when you come and check them out.

A special hooray goes out to the Telluride’s Council for the Arts and Humanities who sponsored this year’s $2,000 prize money.

To participate in CoolSculpt, or in new-to-next-year’s event, KidsSculpt, where friends sculpt a much smaller 4-foot cube, please contact me at P.O. Box 515, Telluride, Colo., 81435, or call 970/728-7008 or email andy@coolsculpt.com.
