On behalf of Telluride Youth Lacrosse and the Board, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Telluride Foundation and the Town of Telluride for their continued support. The grant money received enabled us to purchase more lacrosse equipment for students to borrow. As a result we have more male students who have signed up to play and experience lacrosse.
We continue to be grateful for your generosity and keeping Telluride Youth Lacrosse on your radar screen. Thank you so much! You have helped to put a lot of smiles on a lot of young guys faces.
Warmly,
Julie Houck, TYLA President

Editor:
Abraham Lincoln is revered as one of our greatest presidents. In her book Team of Rivals, Doris Kearns Goodwin tells how Lincoln strategically used his rivals in his cabinet and therein had the most experienced, knowledgeable, intelligent and able cabinet to aid him during his terms of office. Well, can we not do likewise? Using this brilliant strategy, I would recommend to the town council they appoint a Valley Floor Commission made up of George Allen, Hilary Coe, Joan May, Linda Miller and John Steel articulate geniuses, best legal minds and sensible environmentalists. This Commission, thus made up, would reassure the town folk and county residents, give the council back some of its lost standing and, undoubtedly, be successful. How about it?
