McCarthy, who moved to Telluride three years ago from Florida, was the mother of William L. and Carroll W., of Telluride, and of Peter W. McCarthy, of Bolton, Mass. She is survived by her sons and grandchildren – Sarah, Devin, Patrick Sean, Travis, Austin, Lisa and Nancy, and by her great-grandchildren Kya, Laura, Jessica and Meghan.
McCarthy came to the Telluride region three years, ago, after the death of her husband, Kevin, in Jupiter, Fla.
A memorial service was held Thursday, June 29, at Christ Presbyterian Church.
