It features "deep powder and steep lines," says producer Andy Jacobsen, the happy result of shooting throughout the Wasatch Mountains all last winter.
PW06 follows many of the rippers featured in Powderwhore's previous film, PW05, including Charlie Cannon, Noah Howell, Jacobsen, Josh Madsen and Andy Rosenberg.
It features some new faces as well, including Nick "Knock Your Socks Off" Devore; Michaela Zitkova from the Czech Republic, and the elusive Wizard of the Wasatch.Andrew McLean makes a return appearance in the film's highlighting crowd pleaser, Master Piste Theatre, cutting what the producers describe as "some insane lines."
The new film also travels to Baffin Island and then to Denali for kite-skiing, first descents and expeditionary adventures.
Jacobsen says upgraded cameras and editing equipment have "upped the quality as far as production value goes, and it definitely shows in the final product."
