Last week we sent a 134-page yearbook celebrating 25 years of the Telluride Academy off to the printers. It will be ready on July 29, the day we officially celebrate our anniversary.
The artwork is superb; there are lots of old pictures; there is a roll call of 4,028 campers, and hundreds of instructors, administrators, boards and trustees, past and present. There are features on 20 locals, a picture history of each of the 25 years of Telluride Academy, an In Memoriam page and more…
More than 30 families told their stories or sponsored someone else's, including Andrews, Barnhill, Barth, Barlow, Berry, Brooks, Brown, Cohn, Crocker, Demas, Elinoff, Fallenius, Fernald, Fruen, Glazer, Gluckstern, Groner, Harvey,
Kirkendoll, Mandell, Perutz, Peters, Price-Franks, Pryor, Rehnborg, Russell, Smith, Sonnenfeld, Taylor, Thompson, Wald, Weisel, Winslow, Zivian and more…
A number of local businesses also ran ads in the yearbook and they have our sincere thanks for supporting this endeavor. The yearbook will make its debut the last weekend of July. Beginning in early August, it will be available to the community. Hopefully, it will bring back some wonderful Telluride memories.
