Magical Movie Week
Enchanted, that’s what you’ll be with this movie, in which a classic Disney fairytale collides with modern-day New York City when a princess is thrust into the present-day by an evil queen. Follow that with The Golden Compass, based on author Philip Pullman's bestselling and award-winning novel about a fantasy adventure set in an alternative world where people's souls manifest themselves as animals, talking bears fight wars, and Gyptians and witches co-exist. Both films show at the Nugget Theatre through next week. See the calendar listing or visit www.nuggettheatre.com for show times.
