TELLURIDE – Just how are those uniquely peaked Telluride Truffles made? The public is now invited to find out at the newly opened Telluride Truffle Chocolate Factory located on the south side of the Conoco building in Lawson Hill. The factory is in full swing making truffles and chocolate confections for the holiday season.  

As the company’s Internet sales and wholesale needs have continued to grow, it became apparent a retail shop was needed, and the company moved into the space over a year ago. After months of work creating an atmosphere worthy of fine chocolates, the Telluride Truffle retail shop is now ready for customers.

The public is invited to visit the factory and create a unique combination of the 14 flavors of Telluride Truffles. Also available are chocolate confections such as chocolate dipped fruit and chocolate barks. The variety changes daily.

Factory hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with extended hours planned through the new year. Special factory tours will be announced when customers can see the truffles being made.

The shop is located in the back of the Lawson Hill Conoco, right behind the car wash and detail shop. Look for the black pinstripe awning.
