Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, of Dallas, Tex., will operate and manage Rosewood Telluride, on Country Club Drive, adjacent to the first tee box of the Telluride Golf Course, as part of its collection of properties around the globe including New York City’s The Carlyle, Tokyo’s Hotel Seiyo Ginza, Antigua’s Jumby Bay and Santa Fe’s Inn of the Anasazi.
TREC represents seven high-end developments in the region in addition to Rosewood Telluride, Rosewood’s first ski-community venture and the first hotel to bear the Rosewood name.
TREC President and Managing Director T.D. Smith, along with Senior Associate TREC Broker Chris Sommers, will represent the developer in marketing and sales, assisted by a sales team including TREC broker associates Teddy Errico, Kim Havell, Angie Johnson and Bill Marshall.
The Discovery Center is open 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
“As a realtor, it is truly an honor to be selected by T.D. [Smith] to serve as a member of the Rosewood Telluride sales team,” said Marshall. “With over 12 years in Telluride, combined with 20 years in sales and marketing, I feel I have a unique perspective regarding the level of luxury and quality services necessary in a true world-class resort.
“I’m very confident Rosewood Telluride will prove to not only meet, but exceed the expectations of our future resort home owners and guests.”
Rosewood Telluride will include 75 resort guest rooms, and 65 luxury condominiums/townhomes available for purchase. All rooms have views of the Wilson Range; many residences will boast extraordinary vistas of the San Sophia Ridge, as well. Amenities include a fine-dining restaurant, casual après ski restaurant/bar, pool terrace, 12,000-square-foot spa/fitness facility, meeting spaces, and upscale retail shops.
“Future guests and owners will enjoy the same impeccable, high level of service delivered internationally by Rosewood in a five-star trailside lodging facility,” said Smith.
The Discovery Center, and its sample hotel room, offers Telluride residents and visitors a chance to learn about Rosewood Telluride, a significant addition to the Telluride region, at the same time acquainting visitors with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts and its collection of boutique properties and upscale amenities. Visitors can sign up to receive ongoing information about the project.
“This is a very special and exciting development for this region and I’m thrilled to be a part of it,” said Havell. “The showroom is a tremendous resource, particularly because the project is still in its formative stages. It allows us to present the public with a clear introduction to Rosewood Telluride, sharing pertinent information, in addition to providing a visual grasp on what this luxury resort property will entail.”
