Citizen Cope Concert Sat., June 27, in Town Park

Tickets are on-sale now for the Citizen Cope Concert, organized to take place Saturday, June 27, midway through the four-day Telluride Wine Festival (June 25-28).

Tickets for the concert are on-sale now at www.tellurideticket.com ($28 in advance, $30 day of concert); tickets for a concert-and-wine tasting will be available soon at www.telluridewinefestival.com.

According to organizer Denise Mongan: “Citizen Cope is both the lead singer/songwriter of the band” bearing his name. “He is a powerful lyricist; his music is stripped down to basic beats of rock, hip hop and blues. It is a well-established alternative rock band that has released albums since 1996. One Rolling Stone critic called Citizen Cope "a modern day bluesman who paints a plaintive portrait of the human condition.”
