OURAY – Weehawken Creative Arts is assembling an incredible schedule of classes and camps for children in Ouray County this summer. In order to make those opportunities and a number of scholarships available to more children, a “FUNdraiser” is set for Monday, May 4, at The Outlaw Restaurant in Ouray.

Included on Weehawken’s calendar of events for children this summer are a number of dance, theatre and creativity classes and workshops.

The Outlaw, along with several other restaurants and caterers from the area, have generously agreed to contribute toward an evening, open to the public, where patrons will enjoy goodwill, great food, desserts, and live music. Proceeds will benefit Weehawken's children's summer arts programs.

The event begins at 5 p.m. and runs until 7:30 p.m. The cost for the evening is $15 per adult and $5 for children under the age of 10. Ticket prices include admission, entertainment, a meal, a non-alcoholic beverage, and dessert. A cash bar will be available as well. Western attire is encouraged.

Though tickets may be purchased at the door on the night of the event, Weehawken welcomes RSVPs via telephone or email in advance: 970/318-0150 or wcaouray@yahoo.com.
