TELLURIDE – In yet another collaborative effort, the Telluride Ski Resort and Crested Butte Mountain Resort are now offering a six-day interchangeable lift ticket that will give skiers and riders three days at Crested Butte and three days at Telluride.

Unveiled by Telluride and Crested Butte on Nov. 16, the Telluride-Crested Butte Ultimate Six Pass is the latest collaborative step taken by the organizations within the two resort communities in Western Colorado. Earlier this month, Crested Butte Mountain Resort and the Telluride Montrose Regional Air Organization announced a partnership, along with other organizations, to support Allegiant Air nonstop service from Phoenix, Ariz. and Oakland, Calif. to the Montrose Regional Airport.

Essentially, visitors can now use the centrally located airport in Montrose as a ski destination hub with the opportunity to ski both resorts in one trip. And for those who are season pass holders, the two resorts have partnered to give them the opportunity to take advantage of skiing reciprocity privileges.

For those who are already committed to skiing either of the resorts, holding a full season pass at Telluride Ski Resort or a Platinum or Gold Pass to Crested Butte Mountain Resort, they are eligible to receive discounts at the opposite ski area. Each pass holder can purchase lift tickets at the other ski area for 50 percent off the window rate. Each pass holder is allowed one ticket per day and blackout dates of Dec. 27-31 apply around the holiday season.

“This is a unique opportunity for ski enthusiasts to experience Southwest Colorado skiing at multiple resorts in a single trip,” said Ken Stone, executive director of marketing and sales at Telluride Ski Resort. “This product allows much easier access to each resort.”

The Telluride-Crested Butte Ultimate Six Pass cost $399 and is available at Liftopia.com and through the resorts’ websites. The price point is attractive, as it equates to $66.50 per day – an approximate 30 percent discount off window tickets prices.

Once the first three visits have been used at each resort, additional days may be added on at a 20 percent discount off the single-day window rate throughout the rest of the season.

“The Telluride – Crested Butte Ultimate Six Pass is a great value for both destination skiers and skiers and riders in the region, essentially bridging the Elk Mountains and the San Juans,” said Scott Clarkson, vice president of sales and marketing at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. “Plus, the Ultimate Six Pass represents a terrific savings over daily lift tickets. We have also included a 50 percent discount for each resorts’ season pass holders.”

The Ultimate Six Pass is available in limited quantities until Dec. 15, exclusively through Liftopia. To purchase, visit Liftopia.com, skicb.com/seasonpass or tellurideskiresort.com/TellSki/info/season-passes.aspx.
