The Telluride Medical Center would like to express sincere gratitude for the health care providers who made our 2012 Annual Health Fair last month both possible and successful.
Over 100 Telluride residents took advantage of a myriad of services offered at the Health Fair, held at the Ah Haa School, thanks to the following providers: Drs. Gaylord and Grundy, and Eric Johnson, Nurse Practitioner, who provided lab consultations; Dr. Renata Raziano, dermatologist, who performed over 100 skin exams; new eye doctor in town, Dr. Valerie Sharp, who performed eye pressure checks on so many patents she ran out of supplies; local dentist Dr. Ryan Grady and his staff who provided dental education and gift bags to over a 100 individuals; Telluride EMS who performed electrocardiograms; local physical therapy groups, Balanced PT and Peak Performance, who offered therapy consultations and evaluations; San Miguel Resource Center who provided valuable information about their services; our own Paula Scheidegger and Erica Kennedy who offered diabetes education and provided blood sugars tests for attendees; and Telluride Medical Center staff who gave up their Saturday to ensure the Fair ran smoothly.
Again, thanks to all. Without your participation and contributions the Annual Health Fair would not be the rousing success it has been all these years.
We hope to see everyone next year on October 5.
