Having been a San Juan County Commissioner for the past 12 years I am writing to thank San Miguel County for the very positive interaction between our two counties that I have experienced throughout my terms.

Of particular note has been my working relationship with Commissioner Art Goodtimes. His leadership on issues such as regional fiber optic telecommunications, backcountry jeep/OHV 4 county cooperation and his stance on expanded Wilderness protections has been inspirational to me.

Commissioner Goodtimes understands that economic prosperity comes through vision, hard work and cooperative partnerships.
