TELLURIDE – AT&T has activated a new mobile Internet cell site in Telluride. The new site, atop the Elks Building, “will enhance coverage for area residents and businesses,” the company announced, in a press release. “With mobile Internet speeds, AT&T customers can surf the Web, download files faster, and enjoy the very latest interactive HYPERLINK "http://www.att.com/gen/press-room?pid=2899" \o "mobile applications" \t "_blank" mobile applications.”
“We’ve responded aggressively to bring an enhanced coverage solution to our customers in Telluride," said AT&T Colorado President Bill Soards. “Our investment is aimed at delivering a superior mobile Internet experience to residents, businesses and visitors in this popular mountain town.”
AT&T invested nearly $80 million in its Colorado wireless and wireline networks in first half of this year, with a focus on improving the company’s mobile Internet coverage and delivering a superior 4G experience.
