TELLURIDE –The Pa Gomo estate at Gray Head development and a luxury cabin with ski-in/ski-out access in Mountain Village, will be sold at an Auction Without Reserve on Thursday, July 12, through the New York City-based Concierge Auctions.

Originally listed for $20.5 million, Pa Gomo offers unrivaled views and access to the 900-acre preserve ripe with amenities in the exclusive wilderness preserve community. The See Forever Village Cabin 2, originally listed for $3.7 million, comes with extensive Mountain Village amenities.

Each property will sell to the highest bidder, regardless of price, in cooperation with Steve Catsman of Telluride Real Estate Corp, an exclusive affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate.

“Having sold real estate in Telluride for the past 40 years, I can say with confidence that Pa Gomo is one of the most visually unique and inspiring properties to ever be offered for sale in the Rocky Mountains. From its exquisite architectural design to its 360-degree mountain views, this property is amazing in every aspect,” Catsman says. “The See Forever Village cabin is an added benefit of this sale. One buyer might actually want to purchase both properties in order to have the best of both worlds – wilderness seclusion and ski adventure.”

Pa Gomo, a 10,000 square-foot structure, boasts five bedrooms and a series of separate “pods” – both grand and intimate spaces – all connecting to the main living area, flanked by six outdoor living areas. Floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors frame expansive vistas in every direction, including breathtaking panoramas of the San Juan Mountain Range. With more than 4,676 square feet of patio space –1,215 square feet of it covered – the outdoors contains a gourmet summer kitchen and garden, in-ground stone hot tub, a fire pit, sauna and an outdoor shower.

Pa Gomo is part of the Gray Head Wilderness Preserve, within 900-acres of wilderness in the heart of Colorado’s majestic San Juan Mountains, 15 minutes from Telluride. The community is uniquely rich in services, privacy, breathtaking mountain landscapes and amenities including an equestrian center, ice skating rink, fly fishing pond, tennis court, groomed trails for cross-country skiing and snow shoeing and much more.

“Pa Gomo was envisioned as an environmental sculpture for living – a home that is part of the landscape, with all of the latest luxuries within,” says its architect, Jack Snow. “Native, chunky stone forms that were once part of the hillside are linked by a curving copper roof. Absolutely no compromises were made in the materials or artisan selection.”

“The house is all about angles, views, rich earth tones and light,” says the seller, Stuart Ross. “The spaces are designed to feel comfortable, not overwhelming. We’ve loved living here and take pride in knowing the new owners will enjoy it as much as we have.”

See Forever Cabin 2, tucked among the aspen groves, spruce trees and native wildflowers at 156 Country Club Drive in Mountain Village, boasts privacy, views of both the Wilsons and San Sophia mountain ranges, and amenities of The Peaks Resort and Spa at The Peaks. The stand-alone 3,700 square-foot condominium has four bedrooms and bathrooms, a stunning gourmet kitchen, a sizeable media room, a double-sided fireplace and heated outdoor decks. The entire residence was custom-furnished in a soft mountain contemporary style by world-renowned interior design firm The Decorators Unlimited.

“Pa Gomo is one-of-a-kind, quite literally a livable work of art,” stated Laura Brady, vice president of marketing for Concierge Auctions, and “the Mountain Village cabin is the perfect luxury retreat for anyone seeking an active, amenity-rich getaway.”
