TELLURIDE – Telluride will host the Aug. 20 finish of the opening stage of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge, with a daylong festival now in the organizational stages.

Riders will depart from Durango, cross Lizard Head Pass at 10,222 feet and descend into Telluride, entering via the roundabout onto Colorado Ave, then heading north on Townsend St., east on Columbia Ave., south on Willow St., and back onto Colorado Ave. for a westward sprint to the finish line at the San Miguel County Courthouse.
