Thank you, good citizens of Ouray County, for responding to our emergency SOS (Save Our Sherbino) and turning out in force last Friday night to make the SOS Funkdafari Party a huge success. Because of your generosity and support, we are close to having a deal with Shannon that will set us firmly on the path towards turning the Sherbino Theater into a community-owned arts and entertainment venue. Fingers crossed, we will have an announcement within the next few weeks. Then the real work (and fun) begins.
It takes a village to throw a killer party. Very special thanks go to Funkdafari, Colorado Boy Pub & Brewery, Ouray Brewery, Tom Bennet, Mountain Market, Ridgway Liquors, San Juan Liquors, Avalanche Graphics, True Grit Cafe (emergency ice restock), The Watch, The Plaindealer, and our SOS Emergency Bartenders: Jerry Roberts, Lisa Issenberg, Deb Willits, John Clark, Mallory Clarke, Don Kellogg, DJ Strong, and John Hollrah.
You Rock!
