Rinpoche, who has been teaching in the U.S., Europe and Japan for many years and speaks English fluently, is the founder and director of Padma Shedrup Ling study and meditation center in California.
He is currently establishing meditation retreat centers in Crestone and Tso Pema, India.
On Monday, Dec. 19, Rinpoche delivers “Introduction to Buddhism,” from 7-9 p.m., with a $20 suggested donation, at Ken Edgar’s home in American Village (call for directions).
On Tuesday, December 20, Rinpoche’s topic is “How to Work With Anger in Chaotic Times,” again from 7-9 p.m., at Edgar’s home, with a suggested $20 donation.
On Wednesday, December 21, Rinpoche’s topic is “Maitri: Building Friendship in Oneself). He will present this in the Kiva Room at the Chipeta Sun Lodge, 304 S. Lena St., Ridgway, 7-9 p.m., with a suggested $20 donation.
