WESTERN SLOPE - Newly elected State Rep. Don Coram, R-Montrose, will host three Town Hall meetings this month, with the first taking place Saturday, Feb. 5, at 3 p.m., at the True Grit Café, 123 No. Lena, in Ridgway. 
Coram’s second Town Hall meeting takes place Saturday, Feb. 12, at 11 a.m., in Montrose, in the Apex Room at the Holiday Inn, 1391 So. Townsend Ave. His third meeting takes place Thursday, Feb. 17, in Hotchkiss, at the Creamery Arts Center, 165 West Bridge St., in Delta County.

Rep. Coram will provide an overview of the legislative session, discuss bills and answer constituent questions.

Coram serves as vice-chair of the House/State Veterans and Military Affairs Committee, and as a member of the House Agriculture, Livestock and Natural Resources Committee; he also serves on the Congressional Redistricting Committee. He is the House
Sponsor of the following bills: Senate Bill 11-028: Adding a judge to the 7th Judicial District; House Bill 11-1006: Regarding the composition of a Regional Tourism Authority Governing Board; and House Bill 11-1123: Calling for the prohibiting of transfers to the State General Fund from cash funds that have revenue related to the severance of minerals in the state.
