Gus Kenworthy Moves on to Slopestyle Finals at Winter X Games

TELLURIDE – Telluride’s own Gus Kenworthy skied to an impressive start in his first Winter X Games on Thursday when he placed second in the men’s slopestyle elimination round.

Kenworthy’s first of three runs scored a 92.66 and was good enough to hold the second spot out of 15 competitors.

Russ Henshaw took first in the round with a high score of 94. The top eight in the round move on to Saturday’s final round, which will be aired from Aspen on ESPN at 2:30 p.m.
