Prizes for the best Michael Jackson costume from the 60s, 70s and 80s ($75). This is the third time Who's Bad has played the Sheridan, and the intimacy of the venue always makes for a rocking, dance party atmosphere.
Who’s Bad was founded in 2003, at a very tumultuous time in Michael Jackson’s life. Starting the band at that time was a risky proposition. Jackson was in legal trouble, and his reputation was sinking quickly.
Fresh off a sold out European tour, Who’s Bad is on their game; known for their time-tested two-hour performance, Who’s Bad promises to delight Michael Jackson fans everywhere.
It all started years ago with an improvised knife fight carried out on stage that drew the crowd into frenzy. That simple reenactment from the Beat It video spurred founder, Vamsi Tadepalli and the rest of the band members to develop a fully choreographed show which has continually evolved over the years.
Today, Who’s Bad has enjoyed more success than they ever anticipated, thanks to their having perfected the art of delivering a tribute show with undeniably strong appeal to fans and non-fans of Michael Jackson alike.

Toubab Krewe at the Llama
The futuristic, psychedelic, neo-grit frenzy of Toubab Krewe is headed to The Llama Tuesday, Jan. 25.
The group is touring in support of their sophomore album, TK2, which came out on Nat Geo late last year. The acclaimed quintet merges the sounds of rock with a West African influence to create “the national music of a country with no name that appears on no map,” according to JamBase. Blurt has praised the quintet’s original sound as having “such a visceral, ear-yanking quality that in the band's capable hands you just might find your definitions of what is/is not rock ‘n' roll and worldbeat being completely rewritten. This is the sound of liberation.” A Relix trailer previewing the new album can be viewed at http://www.relix.com/video/artist-exclusives/2010/08/04/toubab-krewe-preview.
