DUST RUN? – After yet another wind-driven dust storm slammed the southwestern San Juans Tuesday night, a layer of dust completely covered the moguls beneath the Telluride-Mountain Village Gondola on Kids Hill Wednesday morning. Despite the dumping of much-needed moisture in recent weeks, the dust layers adversely affect the snowpack’s longevity, speeding up runoff.
