KEY CITIZEN AWARD – Founder of Welcome Home Montrose Melaine Kline was hugged by Montrose City Councilor Kathy Ellis during a special presentation Tuesday evening. Kline was presented with a Key Citizen Award from the council for her work helping veterans returning to civilian life. "Her vision was to promote a, "no barriers," atmosphere in Montrose that would facility rehabilitation and purposeful transition into civilian life for our brave soldiers who sacrificed so much.
