With an overall score of 2,507 points, Wilkinson Public Library ranked among the top public libraries both nationwide and within the state, ranking fourth in the country within the $1-5 million-dollar budget category; it was one of three libraries in Colorado to receive the five star designation.
The award is based on patron use per capita, and the four indicators examined were circulation, public computer use, program attendance and total number of visits.
“Our public library staff is commendable in providing both top notch services and resources, but it is you, the patrons who use Wilkinson throughout the year, that earn our local library such high rankings, says Library Director Barb Brattin. “This five-star designation signifies superior return on investment.” For additional information, visit the Library Journal article at http://www.libraryjournal.com/article/CA6636731.html.
