Jim Pancoast Found Dead in Shandoka Apartment

TELLURIDE – San Miguel County Coroner Bob Dempsey reports two recent deaths in the Telluride region. On the night of Dec. 2, longtime resident James D. “Jim” Pancoast, 41, was found dead at his Shandoka apartment, after lapsing into a diabetic coma. Pancoast is survived by his mother, Susan Cole, of South Euclid, Ohio. And on Tuesday, Nov. 25, Leslie Parks-Findley, M.D., 38, died from sepsis, or blood poisoning, that resulted from recent surgery. Parks-Findley, an obstetrician-gynecologist from Texas, is survived by her husband and their twins, aged 2.
