The Third Annual Telluride Horror Show, the Oct. 12-14 horror film festival, has announces part of this year’s lineup. Named one of the "20 Coolest Film Festivals" in 2011 by Moviemaker Magazine, screens an average of 20 feature films and more than 25 shorts, and hosts special programs, special guests and the kickoff Pig Roast.

Feature films include:

CRAWL, Australia, 2011, 80 min. Director Paul China

DEVOURED, U.S., 2012, 92 min. In Person, DirectorGreg Olliver

Immigrant mother (Marta Milans) works as a cleaning woman at an old New York City restaurant in order to make enough money to pay for her sick son’s operation. With no friends or family, she lives a lonely, desperate existence, saving every penny and sending it home for her son. As his condition worsens, malevolent forces living within the walls of the restaurant begin to torment her. She struggles to escape, and return to her son before the evil within the dark walls drives her completely mad.

ELEVATOR, U.S. /Norway, 2011, 85 min., In Person, Writer-Producer Marc Rosenberg; DirectorStig Svendsen

Nine people stuck on an elevator – one has a ticking bomb and the other eight will do absolutely anything to survive. The bomb cannot be defused. No escape and no promise of rescue. The unthinkable becomes the only solution. Crafted by the award-winning team of Norwegian Director Stig Svendsen and writer-producer Marc Rosenberg, they create a story as chilling as Hitchcock’s Psycho and as demented as Polanski’s The Tenant. An amazing ensemble cast (Christopher Backus, Anita Briem, John Getz, Shirley Knight, Amanda and Rachel Pace, Devin Ratray, Tehmina Sunny, Joey Slotnick and Waleed Zuaiter) creates a pressure-cooker drama you won’t soon forget.

GAME OF WEREWOLVES, Spain, 2011, 104 min., In Person, DirectorJuan Martínez Moreno

A failed writer returns to his home village in rural Spain when the locals decide to "honour" him for his work. As soon as he arrives, he realizes all eyes are on him, but not necessarily because of his literary success. It turns out that for over 100 years, a monstrous werewolf has been terrorizing the village. The only way to free the place from the curse is to feed the beast with a member of the Mariño family and the town's just arrived guest "happens" to be a perfect candidate for this.

INBRED, UK/Germany, 2011, 98 min., DirectorAlex Chandon
