They are the hottest act in their rural corner of Australia. Problem is, no one knows it. Three aboriginal sisters sing their hearts out, only to be ignored, until a whiskey-swigging pianist discovers them, reworks their act … and books them gigs in Vietnam for American soldiers. It’s 1968, the war is raging and love and revolution are in the air. Based on a true story, Wayne Blair’s crowd-pleasing film celebrates music, political liberation and personal transformation during the most challenging of times.
