TELLURIDE – TEDxTellurideLive returns for a second year, on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at the Palm Theater. This independently organized event, created in the spirit of "ideas worth spreading," according to the TED website, is a locally self-organized event featuring one day’s worth of programming from the four-day host event, in Long Beach, Calif.
“The title of this year's TED Conference is ‘The Young, The Wise, The Undiscovered,’” says TEDxTellurideLive organizer Katrine Formby, “and on Wednesday, Feb. 27, we will be hearing from a 17-year-old nuclear scientist and a 15-year-old who has developed a new method of detecting pancreatic cancer.
“All I can say is wow!”
