Dear Mr. Roberts: 

While this country is engulfed in a ridiculous debate on TAX vs. PENALTY, I am flabbergasted and extremely disgusted at the “Supreme” Court’s decision to strike down the Stolen Valor Law passed by Congress in 2006 and upheld by the 10th U.S. Circuit Court. Your despicable decision essentially granted devious imposter not only approval, but also federal government encouragement to lie about false military service and false military awards and decorations as a right under “free speech.” Such imposters are stealing unearned benefit and credit from the reputation, honor and sacrifice that has been given by those who have truly given so much to this country, many who have given all.

Your decision denigrates the service and sacrifice of all brave soldiers, an unforgivable “slap in the face” to all honorably discharged vets as well as all our brace soldiers on current duty.

Please pass on to your members my opinion, as a veteran of two tours in Viet Nam, that their action on this issue is absolutely shameful! Are we becoming a nation that goes for everything and stands for nothing? Seems so!
