Editor:
An intelligent citizenry of a great county deserves an intelligent, proven commissioner. Art Goodtimes is that man. He is not only a terrific public servant, but he is a great poet, naturalist, potato farmer and tireless cultural organizer.
I’ve known Art Goodtimes for many years, and am proud to call him friend. He has always has dedicated himself to his community, to the arts and to public service. His politics are measured, thoughtful and well-studied. His record is impeccable and he consistently works for the public good.
I wish I could be more like him.
Public service over time, paid and unpaid, determines the man. That man is Art Goodtimes – the most exceptional public servant I have ever known.
If you don’t re-elect him, you are out of your mind.
– Jack Mueller, Former Chairman, National Poetry Association; Former CEO, International Museum of Art and Science
