Elizabeth “Betty” Day, age 81, and formerly of Ouray, passed away Monday afternoon, Dec. 22, 2008 at the Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction. A Memorial Service in celebration of Betty’s life was held on Saturday, Dec. 27 at Crippin Funeral Home Chapel. A private inurnment will be held at a later date in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Ouray.
Survivors include her daughters, Maureen Wilcox (Mack) of Denton, Texas; Kathleen Schneider of Maryland; Debbie Dorgan (Rick) of Daphne, Ala.; Michele Tallman (Tom) of Wisconsin; and 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, 802 E. Main, Montrose, 970/249-2121.
