Longtime Former Ouray Pastor Dies

The Rev. Lawrence Kern, of St. Gabriel’s Anglican Church, in Greeley, and pastor at the Ouray Episcopal Church and Ouray Anglican Church in the 1970s-80s, passed away Friday, Dec. 23, at the Kenton Manor, in Greeley.

Kern was working until he died, said his niece, Kathy Tuttle, and was scheduled to conduct a wedding and a baptism in coming weeks.

A memorial service will be held sometime next week, in Greeley.

Arrangements are being conducted by Adamson Funeral and Cremation Services, in Greeley.
