MONTROSE – Looking for new angles to boost your bottom line? Why figure it out the hard way when you can tap into the opinions of experts by attending advanced workshops at the Regional Business Expo on Tuesday, April 27 at the Montrose Pavilion.
Governor’s Energy Office Director Director and Expo sponsor Don Marostica kicks off the event at 1 p.m. with an update on Colorado’s economy. Powerful workshops follow his presentation, as well as one-on-one counseling from business experts.

Experts representing all areas of business will be available to give free consulting. On hand will be Pattie Snidow of the USDA, SBA lenders Pat Berry and Tod Cecil, and Paul Dunford of Region 10’s Business Loan Fund.
Small, home-based businesses will be able to get any question answered by Lesley Lewis of Lewis and Company, CPAs. Leslie will present updates on Small Business and Home-Based Tax Deductions, making sure you take legitimate deductions that can save hundreds of dollars each year.
Pitch Your Business to a Venture Capitalist provides the tips you will need to be on the inside track and convince a venture capitalist to invest in your company. Compelling Shoppers to Buy informs on how to “Keep shoppers engaged and coming back for more” by Mariah Kornberg.
Social Networking Market guru Rob Strickland will advance your knowledge of the powerful world of marketing through Facebook, e-newsletters, Twitter, LinkedIn and blogs. Get All the Colorado Tax Credits You Deserve, presented by Region 10, will pinpoint commonly overlooked tax credits that are available for this specific economically challenged region.
There’s much more to learn at the Expo, and the day will end with a happy hour and local barbecue from Miller’s Deitch Haus, plus a cash bar providing local wines and microbrews.
