It is important to know that Noelle Hagan has financed her campaign for the Colorado House of Representative entirely from within this House District 58. Contrary to her opponent, she has taken neither PAC money, nor donations from outside HD 58. Her philosophy is that she is responsible to individuals who live within the counties she will represent.
In addition to the years of serving in leadership positions in government in Montrose, she has tirelessly traveled the region, meeting with voters one-on-one, participating in forums everywhere, often without her opponent. Mr. Tipton appeared at neither of the WISE Election Forums in Ouray County, citing schedule conflicts though invitations went out months ago. Does this imply where he puts Ouray County in his priorities?
Clearly, Noelle Hagan has her campaign finance standards right, and has made it a full time job for many months to know well the issues, concerns and sentiments of her potential constituency.
Not often does such a well-prepared candidate come along. We need her work ethic, financial standards, knowledge, experience, and non-partisan approach to represent us in state government.
