Habitat for Humanity of Telluride Region is pleased to announce the recent completion of two more homes in our six-home Norwood subdivision, Pine Street Gardens. These homes were built for Amy Smith and her daughter Chyenne, and Kristen Noonan and her son Joshua. We are very happy and our new homeowners are overjoyed! Our families put in more than 200 volunteer hours on their homes. Their pride in ownership is evident.
HFHTR wishes to thank all who helped to make this possible through cash donations, grants, discounted services and donations of their valuable time to help complete these homes! Thanks to our house sponsors, for Amy’s house Telluride Association of Realtors, Ross Family Foundation, EnCana Oil and Gas, and Wells Fargo. And our house sponsors for Kristen’s house, Town of Mountain Village and Wells Fargo. In addition the Telluride Foundation, the Faraway Foundation, C.C.A.S.S.E., and the Telluride Rotary
Club all provided generous grants in support of our low-income housing program.
Without all of our partners this work would not be possible. We look forward to breaking ground in May on our 4th home in this Norwood subdivision.
Habitat offers affordable mortgages to families or individuals that meet our family selection criteria and have a household income of 60% or less of median for the county.
We plan to begin the family selection process soon. Income limits and other applicant criteria will be available on the HFHTR website. Visit www.habitattellurideregion.org for more background on the Habitat for Humanity program.
