It was a long spring, but summer is finally here. I am happy to announce that Free Community Yoga has returned to Elks Park! Please come and discover the magic of grounding with earth, reaching for your highest star, connecting with your neighbors, and setting intentions to make your life, our community and perhaps even the world a more calm and peaceful place to live. It's not necessarily the yoga, but the energy within this spectacular group of people who practice each week that make this class so uplifting. We meet every Monday from 12-1:15 p.m. in Elks Park.
I would like to thank the Ah Haa School for generously donating their beautiful space for us this winter. Special thanks to Colin, Laura, and Rachael for helping to organize this event every week and to the dedicated group of students who religiously came to practice every Monday. The Gallery at the Ah Haa School has an amazing energy with a talented group of artists who are fortunate to display their work and we were fortunate to practice there each week with the sound of the river just outside the door. The Ah Haa School and I are hosting a $10 class on Fridays at noon this summer. Check it out if you are looking for more yoga.
If you just can't get enough exercise, I am teaching a Beach Bodies class at the Peaks this summer on Tuesdays and Fridays at 9 am. This intense fast paced workout is geared toward getting your body in shape for the beach. If that doesn't suit you, there is Yoga for Golf at the Peaks on Fridays at 10:15 p.m. Get a discounted punch card by June 15th and we'll see you there. If you are a member at the Telluride Yoga Center, you can come to Wednesday's lunchtime class at 12:30 p.m. or discover the full schedule of classes that they offer.
Most importantly, come experience Free Community Yoga at noon on Mondays this summer. All levels are welcome. Bring a mat and some sunscreen... and a desire to be the change that you wish to make in the world. For more information, please call me at 209-8360.
Sharing the light,
