OURAY – The charming tale of Pinocchio, the wooden puppet who longed to become a real, live boy, comes to life this Saturday, August 15, when the Missoula Children's Theatre and more than 50 local students perform an original, musical adaptation of this classic tale.

The local cast features Pinocchio, the Blue Fairy, Jiminy Cricket, the villainous Fox and the mischievous Cat. Also featured are Puppets, Pinocchio's tough friend, Candlewick, and Candlewick's Crew. To complete the ensemble, there will be Urchins, School Kids, and the masterfully crafted Toys. Some local participants will have even served as Assistant Directors throughout the week.

The Missoula Children's Theatre residency in Ouray County is presented locally by Weehawken Creative Arts with key funding provided by The Box Canyon Lodge, the Ouray County Players, the Ouray Chalet Inn, Ouray Liquors and James E.
