RIDGWAY – Lorimer Network Research has donated funds to the Ridgway Area Chamber of Commerce to cover the purchase of a new tile floor for the Ridgway Visitors Center. The tile will be purchased from Valley Floors, a Ridgway company, at a discounted price; Ridgway Hardware is donating the necessary glue, grout and paint. Dallas Creek Construction will donate a window for the north side of the building; Valley Floors is also providing a rock countertop, designed by Kitchen and Bath Designs. Inside and Out Yard Repair’s Frank Leonardi and Doug Leverenz are donating their labor to lay the floor.

“This project is important to the community, as well as Lornet, says John Lorimer, “and will allow us to show how proud of our community we all are. In the current economy, the Visitors Center facelift would not be possible without generous contributions of the community. Our Chamber of Commerce is engaged and working down the path to help save our local economy. I encourage everyone to get involved – donations of money, time or supplies will be gratefully accepted.”
