“We have about two-thirds of the spots filled and still have openings,” said Jenni Sopsic, director of marketing and public relations for Montrose ACT, which is co-sponsoring the event along with the Montrose Press.
Sopsic said businesses will have tables with displays, exhibits and demonstrations, that prizes will be raffled throughout the day, and admission is free. The expo runs from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and a portion of booth fees will go to Project Lead the Way, a nationwide high school scholarship program, Sopsic said.
Businesses that have already registered for the expo, according to Sopsic, include Montrose ACT, Deeply Digital, Yellow Book, Montrose Memorial Hospital Rehab, Proven Tech, Walgreens, Cumulus, the Staffing Group, Delta Montrose Electric Association, Montrose Daily Press, Habitat for Humanity, Big O Tires, SOS Staffing, Gordon Composites/Polystrand, Gold Leaf Directories, Anytime Fitness, Flower Motors, First National Merchant, All Points Transit, Habitat for Humanity, Hospice & Palliative Care, Green Way Pro, Montrose Economic Development Council, Region 10, Drug Testing Inc., Conners Drilling, Colorado Christian University, Montrose Rotary, and the Montrose School District.
“We have some businesses that are always there and have a constant presence, and a lot of new businesses,” she said. “It’s a great opportunity to show off a new product or service or just promote their business.”
