Telluride Tourism Board Hires Denver’s Kruzic Communication

DENVER – The Telluride Tourism Board has hired the Denver-based communications firm, Kruzic Communications, Inc., to head up its public relations efforts.

“Kruzic Communications’ well-established professional relationships with writers and editors in the hospitality and tourism industries will help bring the town of Telluride the exposure the area deserves,“ said Scott McQuade, CEO of Telluride Tourism Board.

Maya Air Offers Fresh Air, Lowered Carbon Footprint

TELLURIDE – MayaAir, the Telluride-based air charter carrier, has entered into its fourth year of partnering with TerraPass, the carbon-offset firm offering offsets for four short, three medium and two long-haul flights.

“Through a partnership with TerraPass, we have purchased reductions in carbon emissions equal to the carbon produced by our aircraft flight time,” says Eliot Brown, operator and chief pilot of MayaAir. “We continue to be the only TurboProp aircraft on the Western Slope offering green transportation.”

In addition to carbon offsets, Brown says, MayaAir’s Renaissance Commander, “with its new, modern Cabin Comfort Unit utilizes clean outside fresh air with absolutely no possibility of jet engine contamination.”

Mountain Limo Announces Frequent Rider Punch Card

TELLURIDE – This winter, Mountain Limo, Telluride’s local airport shuttle, taxi, and limo company, announces a punch card program for their frequent riders, which includes a Montrose punch card and an In-town punch card. The Montrose punch card rewards frequent riders for their loyalty and offers a free ride after buying five trips at the regular rate (a $45 value) to Montrose or the Montrose Airport; the In-town punch card offers a free ride after buying 10 in-town transfers (a $15 value). Punch cards can be picked up on the Mountain Limo shuttle and are valid for up to one year.
