Ridgway Garden Tour Fundraiser Planned for June 26

OURAY COUNTY – Visit six extraordinary local gardens followed by a luncheon at the Ridgway Community Garden on Sunday, June 26. The event is meant to inspire, inform and empower people in their own gardening practices.

The self-guided tour begins at 10 a.m., with maps to gardens available at Colorado Boy Brewery, Cimarron Books and Ridgway Town Hall, as well as Buckskin Booksellers in Ouray. Participants will then gather for lunch at the Ridgway Community Garden at 1 p.m. The menu will feature local garden cuisine and Colorado Boy beer. Local gardeners will also be on hand to chat with guests.

Norwood Community Garden Film Fundraiser

NORWOOD – The Norwood Community Garden is hosting a movie night at the Norwood Livery, Friday, May 19, to raise funds for infrastructure for the garden located on the east end of Summit St.

Two films will be screened: The Edge of Telluride and Film From My Parish, 6 Films, starting at 7 p.m. Raffle tickets for a Telluride Mountainfilm Sunshine pass, valued at $340, will be sold prior to the event at the door; $5 for one or $8 for two. The raffle drawing will take place that night.
