TELLURIDE - The Sixth Annual Telluride Yoga Festival, July 11-14, offers yoga students of all levels an enriching experience (and the opportunity to have a positive impact on the environment).

A range of yoga masters from Tias Little and Aadil Palkhivala to Duncan Wong and Beryl Bender Birch will teach nearly 40 classes, and participate in a series of public events designed to unify the yogic community and raise awareness about environmental issues.

“Expect the best of the best instructors in a peaceful mountain setting, clean air, great atmosphere and beauty every direction you look,” said Festival Producer and Certified Jivamukti Yoga Instructor Aubrey Hackman.

The festival kicks off Thursday, with all-day intensive trainings on Thursday, followed by three days filled with meditation, three workshops each day and free special events ranging from Friday Night Kirtan to hula-hooping to acrobatic partner yoga and lectures on health and wellness.

The environmentally friendly festival has asked vendors and presenters to bring in only recyclable materials, and is also donating 25 percent of the net proceeds to EcoAction Partners (a different environmental organization is selected for this gift every year),an organization that partners with communities to enhance local self-reliance and ensure a sustainable future.
