"Refresh & Renew" Yoga - Unc. Yoga Circle
“Refresh & Renew” is a vinyasa flow & hatha combo yoga class emphasizing prana (breath) throughout each pose, balancing strength building with stretching and relaxation. A typical class starts with warm-up poses and activities to sync the breath and body movement. Then sun salutations, standing, seated, or inverted poses, with a concentration of the breath throughout. The class ends with poses encouraging your internal experience, bringing stretching and space to your joints, allowing your nervous system to relax.
Marissa Krupa, RYT-200 began practicing Iyengar yoga over 10 years ago while living in San Francisco to help solve chronic back pain. Marissa received her 200-hour yoga teaching certification from Suddha Weixler at Chicago Yoga Center, emphasizing Iyengar & Ashtanga yoga modalities. It is Marissa's deep honor to serve you.
