Iron Alley Launch Party
posted by compassionfest
When:
7:30 PM
Friday, December 28
Where:
The Steaming Bean,
Telluride,
CO
81435
Description:
The world didn't end...so we started a business!
Iron Alley and the Greenbelt Group is a conglomerate startup whose mission is to preserve, protect, and promote the European Green Belt. The Green Belt is an undeveloped seam of land which was once the skirt of the Iron Curtain. It is now a vast, relatively undeveloped wilderness area featuring a popular biking trail stretching from the northern tip of Europe to Bulgaria in the south.
This free event at the Steaming Bean is dedicated to raising awareness in our community of the many treasures the European Green Belt has to offer the adventurous traveler. We will have live music, short film, and a DJ dance party -- all for you! Come on out and have some fun!
www.greenbeltguide.com is a social network and blog created to provide
support for slow travel adventure seekers that desire an authentic interactive
cultural experience on the European Green Belt Trail.
www.ironalley.com is an e-commerce site offering gifts inspired by, from and for
the European Green Belt. Also the Iron Alley will provide a consolidated shipping
service to the United States and offer shipping all over the world.
Greenbelt Group makes money through both Greenbelt Guide and Iron
Alley. Greenbelt Guide will be available for purchase as a smart phone/
ipad/computer application that allows travelers access to a guide to
the European Green Belt Trail as well as an online, information-sharing
community space. Greenbelt Guide will dovetail Greenbelt Group’s
e-shop, Iron Alley, which sells gifts, art, goods, and music from the
Green Belt. The Greenbelt Guide app will be available on Iron Alley,
and Iron Alley will promote Greenbelt Guide; each part of the business
complements the other. At this time, Greenbelt Guide and Iron Alley are
the first and only endeavors of their kind.
