18 miles west of Colorado Springs. From Denver take I-25 south (from Pueblo take I-25 north) to Colorado Springs exit 141 (24 west/Cimarron Street). At exit ramp light, make a left onto West Cimarron St. (Route 24 west). Continue on Route 24 to Woodland Park (18 miles). RMDRC is on the left at the corner of Highway 24 and Fairview St. Look for the palm trees and dinosaurs out front.
Description:
Join in on a Fantasy Forest Puppet Workshop with Cathy Kelsay, learn how to be a puppeteer and make your own puppet. Be sure to wear your Halloween costume and join in on our contest and parade after the workshop. Prizes will be awarded for the Prettiest, Scariest, Funniest and Best Dino Costume. There will also be stories, treat bags and lots of fun for all at the Dinosaur Resource Center!
