Description:
Back by popular demand is Denver artist Bruce Gomez!"The purpose of this class is to teach students, whether they are rank beginners or already accomplished artists, my ideas about paper preparation, drawing, composition, and development of color skills. This class will cover everything from beginner’s fundamentals – how to tear, prepare and mount watercolor paper, sketch and draw, block in color and layer color – all the way to advanced color combinations and layering as well as discussions of composition techniques, etc. The first day we all work from the same photo which I will provide and I will show how to mount, sketch out and which colors I will use so that they can have a '"recipe" that can be followed. I am happy to answer any and all questions from how to draw, frame, photograph your work, and how to use Photoshop, and throughout the class, I will go from artist to artist to check on progress, hand-hold, encourage and offer suggestions to improve their work."
