BURLESQUE – A few of the Lollipop Girls (left to right, Amy Schiling; Lauren Metzger as Miss Lickety Split; Rachael Cooke as Cookie Noir; Marissa Mattys as Marietta Moanin’; Mandy White and Jenn Dewey as Gypsy Luna) appearing in the popular fundraiser, directed by Sasha Cucciniello, that returns to the Sheridan Opera House for its second year, Friday, March 30 and Saturday, March 31, at 9 p.m. Thanks to the merger of the Telluride Repertory Theater and Squidshow, which Cucciniello founded, it’s now a fundraiser for Telluride Theater. “We’re bringing back this art form; it’s sort of our homage to the Opera House,” which hosted similar “showgirl” performances, in its heyday, said Cucciniello.
